PWN Lisbon and MEO sign partnership to promote diversity strategies in leadership

This partnership is part of MEO's strategic action, which has defined four priority areas: People, Sustainability, Technology and Innovation, with the purpose of "Connecting people to a more innovative, inclusive and sustainable life". With regard to People, MEO is committed to attracting and retaining talent, investing in new skills and committing to having 40% of women in leadership positions by 2030.

It also reinforces MEO's positioning as a brand of causes that promotes diversity, inclusion and gender equality. This partnership is also part of PWN Lisbon's strategic vision for corporate diversity and equal opportunities, which includes collaborative partnerships with business partners, private companies, public institutions and other relevant organizations.

PWN Lisbon's network of partners, which includes national and international players, and now also MEO, includes brands representing the different strategic sectors of society, ensuring the transversality and diversity that characterize the Portuguese business fabric.

By establishing this partnership, MEO strengthens its initiatives within the scope of its sustainability action plan, and can now benefit from PWN Lisbon's programs (Neuroliderance, Mentoring and Youth), as well as its role model, training and networking actions, in a logic of sharing models of excellence.

PWN Lisbon, in turn, will become part of strategic actions promoted by MEO among its main stakeholders related to the context of diversity and inclusion.

For Sandra Mateus, Board Member of PWN Lisbon, "At PWN Lisbon, we have (daily!) initiatives that address not only the active development of women in management positions, but also other dimensions of equality, diversity and inclusion, always with the aim of contributing to creating and consolidating leadership with impact. We are delighted to be celebrating this partnership with MEO, because we believe that with shared commitments between the various organizations we can go further, or even create results faster."

Ana Gama Marques, MEO's People and Organization Director, points out that "this partnership with PWN Lisbon reflects our commitment to promoting diversity and female leadership. We believe that developing and empowering women in management positions is essential to building a more equitable and innovative corporate culture. We are promoting opportunities that value talent and equality, ensuring that everyone has the tools they need to grow and prosper."
