Skope - Museum of Medicine and Health of the Foundation home Hermes, was officially opened, celebrating a new era in the appreciation of the history of medicine. With roots in home -Dr. Hermes Museum, founded by the illustrious Aveiro doctor and collector Hermes de Oliveira Castanhas, Skope is not just an exhibition space, but a true center of knowledge and education for health.
Altice Labs, as Skope’s technology partner, played a crucial role in this initiative, providing connectivity throughout the museum and developing an innovative and immersive museum experience called “inSkope”. This experience invites visitors to step into a cabin and experience a fascinating journey between the past and future of medicine.
Developed exclusively by Altice Labs, the “inSkope” booth provides visitors with an interactive experience where they can privately monitor a range of vital data and biometric parameters. At the end, each participant receives a detailed report on their health status, along with recommendations to promote healthy habits.
The opening ceremony of Skope - Museum of Medicine and Health of the Foundation home Hermes – included interventions by José Ribau Esteves, Mayor of Aveiro, Prof. Manuel Teixeira Veríssimo, from the Central Regional Section of the Order of Physicians, and João Paulo Firmeza, General Director of Altice Labs.
With the implementation of innovative projects such as "inSkope", Altice Labs reaffirms its commitment to communicating innovation, involving the community, transforming the way we interact with health and knowledge, and contributing to a healthier and more sustainable future.
