MEO has been recognized as the national operator with the best mobile network in Lisbon, according to the "Audit Report, Portugal, Lisbon" for 2024, by the independent benchmarking organization umlaut. The study tested and measured the experience of using the voice and mobile data services of all networks (
2G/4G/5G) of the three national operators in the city of Lisbon, results which are even more valuable given the city's urban density and orography.
- MEO's mobile network performed best in Lisbon, with 966 points out of 1000.
- Voice services showed the best performance, scoring 259 points out of 270.
- Mobile data quality scored 472 out of 480 points.

The results of the umlaut study were presented during the Mobile World Congress 2024, which took place in Barcelona.
