SAPO opens applications for the 22nd edition of the SAPO Awards

This, the 22nd edition, promises to be the most memorable and surprising ever, starting with the choice of venue for the awards ceremony, which will be announced shortly. No one will want to miss the event. A bridge, over the last two decades, between the community of advertisers, media, creative and digital agencies and their stakeholders, the SAPO Awards have new categories this year, reflecting emerging trends and the continuous evolution of a market that is characterized by its irreverent and disruptive nature. 

These are the categories in the competition: 

 - Most original display campaign; 

- Most innovative video campaign; 

- Best digital audio spot; 

- Best brand podcast; 

- Best social media engagement strategy; 

- Best story-telling in content-marketing; 

- Best native-advertising strategy; 

- Best addressable-tv campaign; 

- Best 100% digital strategy.  

Nominations, which can be submitted until June 2 on the SAPO 2024 Awards page, must refer to campaigns broadcast on digital media in 2023, and the winners will be chosen by a renowned jury, representative of the different areas of digital advertising development, to be announced shortly.   

Since its inception in 2000, the SAPOAwards have awarded more than 1000 trophies, with more than 2700 applications from dozens of organizations and sectors of activity. With this initiative, SAPO is making yet another strategic contribution to enhancing excellence in digital communication, positioning Portugal as a leading country in creating trends.
