Applications for the DarWiN trainee program are now open

This trainee program reflects the way the company sees people as its greatest asset. Over the course of 12 months, the young people, both graduates and master's students, are accompanied in a personalized and continuous way by their mentors, focused on the mission of taking them from theory to practice, providing them with an unforgettable experience that will boost their future.

With the aim of establishing a lasting relationship, the DarWiN programme includes, throughout its entire course, training sessions, ongoing counselling and feedback sessions that enable young people to enhance their learning, strengthen their ties with the organizational structure and benefit from full integration. The DarWiN programme has been the embodiment of MEO's rejuvenation strategy, absorbing what young university students bring to the teams they join: new skills and approaches, curiosity and dynamism.

And the range of teams and business areas in which this can happen is vast when we talk about a group whose areas of activity are as diverse as the universe of brands that make up its structure: MEO, MEO Empresas, MEO Energia, SAPO, Moche, Altice Labs and Fundação Altice - all brands with a solid footprint on the national business scene.

There have already been more than 230 trainees who, over the 4 editions of the program, have had the opportunity to start their professional career in a multinational that is a market leader, integrating relevant projects and accompanying key decision making for the business, in areas as diverse as engineering, cybersecurity, IT, marketing or communication.

The numbers show the success of the program, with applications increasing year on year and reaching 1500 in the last edition. For this edition, applications opened on the 16th and run until the end of May, at altice.pt, where candidates will be able to learn more about the benefits of the program, namely through testimonials from those who have already gone through the experience.

Entry into the DarWiN program will take place in September. Until then, and in line with a strategy that has people as one of its pillars, MEO is once again putting technology at the service of humanization. Using tools based on Artificial Intelligence, the application platform is programmed, in this edition, so that candidates have more frequent feedback on the selection process.
