In order to guarantee the best connectivity and experience at the world's largest technology summit, MEO has reinforced and modernized its infrastructures and networks to provide full WiFi and 5G coverage with the excellence that this 4-day event demands.
It took two months of preparation and the involvement of a team of more than 170 employees for this edition of the Web Summit to be able to support more than 150,000 devices simultaneously via the wireless network.
As in previous years, SAPO was a media partner of the Web Summit. Throughout the days, SAPO broadcast the Center Stage sessions live on its homepage, as well as comprehensively following all the topics related to the event in SAPO's different editorial areas.
Entrepreneurship, investment, technology and innovation were the watchwords throughout these four days, marking yet another edition of the Web Summit in Portugal. More than 70,000 people from 153 countries saw their communication needs met with MEO's state-of-the-art technology.
