Altice Portugal and Trade Union Associations sign revised Collective Bargaining Agreement

Sindicato dos Trabalhadores do Grupo Altice em Portugal (STPT), Sindicato Democrático dos Trabalhadores dos Correios, Telecomunicações, Media e Serviços (SINDETELCO), Sindicato das Comunicações de Portugal (SICOMP) and Sindicato Nacional dos Quadros das Telecomunicações (TENSIQ) - signed the revision of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (ACT).
This ambitious and comprehensive revision will take effect retroactively from January 1, 2023:

- A 9.2% increase in the lowest wages, guaranteeing a minimum wage of €830;
- 3.5% increase in salaries up to €1,300
- 2.3% increase in salaries from €1,300 to €2,300
- 2% increase in salaries of €2,300 or more
- Guaranteed career progression, based on the principles of meritocracy, with 300 career progressions planned by the end of 2023, 100 of which for workers with 3 or more years without career progression;
- An increase in the meal allowance and other pecuniary items, as well as a review of subsistence allowances;
- Improved absence arrangements for the death of family members;
- Continuation of active policies for internal social responsibility, reconciling personal and professional life and respect for diversity.

The ACT was signed this Monday, February 20, by the Executive Committee of Altice Portugal and the representatives of the Trade Union Associations that formally endorsed the results of the negotiations.

With this revision of the ACT, Altice Portugal seeks to respond to the needs of employees, helping to minimize the effects of the current macroeconomic environment, and reaffirm its commitment to employability, responsible Human Resources management and the strategic vision for the business in which it operates.

With this agreement, Altice Portugal also reinforces its firm commitment to valuing social dialogue and agreeing on measures that contribute to improving the well-being of its workers.

Aware of the effects of the current macroeconomic context, Altice Portugal has promoted other measures - such as extraordinary compensation and reinforced support for employees in terms of MEO communications packages - which, added to the agreement now reached, result in a total increase of 5.2%.
