MEO distinguished as "Portugal's Best Store 2023" in telecommunications

Through a simple and objective evaluation system, Portuguese consumers were asked for their opinion on the service provided by 276 brands, divided into 28 categories to be voted on in this year's edition.

Consumers evaluated the performance of the companies in the different competition categories and in both channels. For physical stores, 15 factors were evaluated and for digital stores, 12.

The evaluation criteria included topics such as after-sales service, focus on the consumer, online channels, professionalism, training, customer service, quality of offer, store experience, personalization, variety of offer, communication, partnerships and suppliers, price, promotions and discounts and trust.

According to João Epifânio, Chief Sales Officer B2C at Altice Portugal, "It is with great enthusiasm that we received this award, which not only recognizes our physical MEO stores, but also our online services. At MEO we work every day to continue to be the Portuguese people's favorite brand and this award is a sign that we are on the right track."

This is the second time in a row that MEO has been awarded the trophy "Portugal's Best Store in the telecommunications sector", thus consolidating the relationship of trust it maintains with consumers.

A total of 30 winners were chosen across 28 categories, with a total of 65,000 votes. The retailers distinguished by consumers are those that received the highest number of votes and the best rating.

This recognition is another step towards achieving one of Altice Portugal's strategic objectives for the coming years: to be the leading company in terms of quality of service, consolidating its leadership in all market segments.

It should be remembered that MEO has 179 stores nationwide and has been investing in their modernization and renovation, implementing a new concept of proximity without physical barriers in service with logistical conditions geared towards experimentation and improving the customer experience.
