Winners of Altice Portugal's International Innovation Award announced


The winners were chosen by the Grand Jury, represented by Altice Labs, Altice Portugal, Agência Nacional de Inovação (ANI), Associação Nacional de Jovens Empresários (ANJE), Enterprise Ireland, Estrutura de Missão "Recuperar Portugal", Associação Europeia de Operadores de Redes de Telecomunicações (ETNO), Fundação Altice, Luz Saúde, Startup Lisboa and Universidade de Coimbra.

Inclusio was the winner of the Startup category, with a cash prize of €50,000 and the possibility of carrying out a pilot (proof of concept) with the Altice Group. In the Academy category, the Dynamic Defense for Softwarized and Virtualized Networks project was the winner of its category and was awarded a prize of €25,000. The Dreamwaves solution was the winner of the Includes by Altice Foundation category, with a prize of €20,000 for the best inclusive project at the service of citizens.

For the 5th consecutive year, the Altice International Innovation Award also had the association of ANI, through the award of the Born from Knowledge (BfK) distinction. In this edition, the award was given to IPLEXMED, as the best finalist project "born from knowledge", which results from research and development (R&D) activities, thus valuing national scientific and technological knowledge that responds to the challenges of society and contributes to the development of the economy.

Launched by Altice Portugal and with a legacy of 6 editions, the Altice International Innovation Award promotes and recognizes entrepreneurship and technological talent, with more than 500 applications received, for a total prize of more than €460,000.
