The latest reports released by ANACOM regarding electronic communications services in the first half of 2021 once again reinforce the clear leadership of MEO, Altice Portugal's brand, in all communications services in Portugal.
In addition to market leadership, MEO is the operator with the fewest complaints. According to the sector regulator, MEO is the operator with the lowest number of complaints per 1,000 customers. In the 2nd quarter of 2021, MEO had the lowest rate of complaints (1.1 per thousand customers), and is also the operator with the largest decrease in complaints (-14%).

At the end of the first half of 2021, MEO was the provider with the highest share of subscribers to the subscription TV signal distribution service (40.4%), an increase of +0.5pp compared to the same period last year. The leading Portuguese operator continues to increase its lead over the second operator, after overtaking it in number of subscribers in the second quarter of 2020.

MEO continues to lead in Fixed Telephone Service (42.0%); Mobile Services (44.5%); Fixed Broadband (38.9%) and Packaged Services (40.8%).

MEO received the distinction of 'Best in Test - Mobile Internet', according to data from the last 12 months of the QualRede application, in relation to the parameters measured by users: download and upload speed, web browsing test and streaming.
