Considered a culturally innovative and technologically immersive show, MEO The Search by Samsung Galaxy Z demonstrated MEO's role as a brand close to the Portuguese and promoter of a democratic stage, accessible to everyone, regardless of whether they come from a rural or urban location.

The Grand Final of MEO The Search by Samsung Galaxy Z featured five finalists: Ana Andrade, Bertílio Santos, Fernando Lemos, Maria Tereso and Sofia Reis were the contestants who, out of more than 1,200 entries from the mainland, Madeira and the Azores, took to the stage at the Altice Forum Braga and fought for a place at the 2022 edition of MEO Marés Vivas and a prize worth 15 thousand euros.

The judging panel for the Final of the competition was made up of musicians Bárbara Tinoco, Virgul, Filipe Survival, Carolina Deslandes and Alexandre Matos, CFO of Altice Portugal (and musician).
Fernando Lemos, the night's big winner, was announced by João Epifânio, Chief Sales Officer B2C at Altice Portugal, having secured the prize of 15,000 euros, the edition of an EP, a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G, a month behind the wheel of the New SEAT Ibiza, among other things.

In a hybrid event, which featured special appearances by Carolina Deslandes, Bárbara Tinoco, Virgul, Neev and Blaya and, in digital format, April Ivy, Mickael Carreira and David Carreira, thousands of people watched the big gala via MEO's broadcast platforms (FB, IG, YouTube and the blue button on the remote control). With its origins in digital, a total of more than 6.5 million people have been impacted since the contest began. The seven galas, which were broadcast live on MEO's social networks, on SAPO and on MEO TV, were a success, achieving high coverage.

Given the change in consumption habits of the Portuguese due to the pandemic scenario, MEO The Search by Samsung Galaxy Z is the brand's response to new consumer needs and greater availability for the consumption of innovative content in the digital environment. The Altice Forum Braga, the second largest concert hall in the country, was chosen as the venue for the Grand Final, as it is located in the youngest city in Europe and in a municipality with strong ties to Altice Portugal, which has supported this event in Braga from the outset.
