With the establishment of this renewed agreement, Altice Portugal reaffirms its serious commitment to social dialogue, closer relations with representative structures and, most importantly, the consensus of measures that contribute to improving the well-being of its workers.
The negotiation process between Altice Portugal and the Company's Workers' Representative Structures was guided by the value of dialogue, clarification, transparency and the creation of platforms and synergies of compromise between the parties.
In a demanding and ambitious year, the revision of the ACT covers a number of different issues whose impact will be felt as of January 1, 2022. The negotiation process thus establishes:
- Wage increases of €15/month for all active workers;
- For the lowest paid, a minimum salary of €760 is guaranteed;
- Guaranteed career development based on the principles of meritocracy;
- Maintenance of health plans;
- Maintenance of communications benefits;
- Reinforcement of measures to reward and accompany retirement;
- Continuing to pursue active internal social responsibility policies and respect for diversity, setting itself as a benchmark at company level, particularly in terms of international obligations.
The ACT was signed this Wednesday between João Zúquete da Silva, Altice Portugal's Chief Corporate Officer and the unions, who formally endorsed the final results of the negotiations.
For João Zúquete da Silva, Chief Corporate Officer of Altice Portugal, "this ACT is proof of Altice Portugal's commitment to serving the working community and improving the working conditions of Altice Portugal's employees. We have very clear priorities and the stability of Human Resources is one of them. We are committed to our employees and to responsible Human Resources management, a cornerstone of our strategic vision for the business in which we operate."
This revision of the ACT is further proof of Altice Portugal's commitment to its employees and reflects the sharing of identical principles and values with regard to labor stability and the promotion of Social Dialogue in the Company, key pillars of the strategy of the Company's Executive Committee.
